Sing!

This morning I woke to the sound of my five-year-old nephew in the kitchen covering the Carpenters.

Sing, sing a song

Sing out loud

Sing out strong

Sing of good things not bad

Sing of happy not sad

Here I thought, "He's going to go back to the beginning." But no...

sing, sing a song

Make it simple to last

Your whole life long

Don’t worry that it’s not

Good enough for anyone

Else to hear

Just sing, sing a song

La la la la la

La la la la la la...

Yup, he had the whole song down.

It would have been cute...if it hadn't been first thing in the morning.

What a very musical child! We really must harnass that talent.
